Some January pictures

I think she's missing something...
It's January, it's Utah, it's snowy and cold. Alyssa wanted to go outside so she grabbed her boots and coat but something tells me she's going to freeze her little butt off! lol (1-21-10)
Another interesting outfit! (1-2-10)
While I was washing the sheets for my bed, the girls were kind enough to make it for me! See the tiny blanket...lol
Karah's didn't want to go to school...
So she decided to have Alyssa help her barracade me in her room so she didn't have to go.
They even brought up pillows from the couches downstairs
When I climbed over she frantically went into action, moving the pillows to another spot to block me.
Okay, it worked! You don't have to go because I'm stuck in here. Not! That's what she wanted me to say but she didn't get her way. She just really doesn't like her mean teacher. (On a side note: We just moved into my mom's for a little while and she started school at the school I went to when I was little. She was so excited after she met her NICE teacher and had a wonderful first day at school! I think this will be a lot better! I'm excited for her to see what Kindergarten is supposed to be like and for her to love learning and going to school again.)
Karah made some "homework" for Alyssa to do. If you look close, she tried to make dashes to create the letters so Lys could trace them... (1-7-10)
I just had to get a picture of Karah's crazy hair (1-11-10)
If she wears a headband to school, inevitably it will fall out or slide back so when she pushes it back on her head she gets a crazy muffin effect. When she came to the car after school, I just giggled and knew I had to get some pictures when we got home.
It's hard to really tell but it was all over! (this is one of Alyssa's favorite shirts...)
being silly with rollers
This is Alyssa's other favorite shirt. If one of these shirts is hanging in her closet she always HAS to wear it...sometimes I have to leave it in the hamper a little longer so we can rotate through her clothes a little more evenly!
Ready for school (1-12-10)
The frost on the trees was so neat this morning (1-16-10)
(1-18-10) "taking each other's temperatures"
being silly
'Teaching' Alyssa how to do some dance steps
>Me with straight hair and curly hair...
I have bunches of pictures and memories from November and December and maybe I'll get to them someday but right now, I am moving on... I was with my mom most of those months because of my surgery so she has it all on her blog...

My nephew is in kindergarten at the school (I believe) you went to when you were little. What track is Karah on? I wonder if they are in the same class. That would be fun!

Thanks Kaycee...it is so THICK and it's getting pretty long. Trying to decide whether to cut it shorter or just get a trim so it will look nice again. We need to play some more! I have lots to tell you... ;)

That is so dang funny about Karah not wanting to go to school. I don't blame her. That teacher was a RONCH! (not sure how to spell it) She has NO right teaching those cute kindergartners. Anyway... you have some cute picts of the girls. I am so happy that Boo can have a good experience in her new Kindergarten class. It was a relief to hear that SHE LOVED it!!!
I also LOVE your hair. WHERE in the HECK did you get all of it anyway? Are you really my daughter? I got jipped in the "Hair" department! Mine sucks!
