May 2011

I love spring and it was a good chance for me to practice with my camera. Bear with me, bunches of pictures of spring flowers and trees, etc. There are pictures of the kids though so scroll down. :)

Evan's Headstone. It took me a while but I finally decided what I wanted it to say and what I wanted it to be like. I decided on Jesus holding a baby, because Jesus is in Heaven holding MY baby until I get back to him! I got a little tag on a bear that came with Evan's casket that said "I am with you always" and I've kept it this whole time. It's a comforting thought. One day as I was looking through some stuff and saw it, I thought to put it on his headstone since it reminded me so much of him. I also decided to use the same kind of font, layout and border like Kaitlyn's so they match a little next to each other. I like how it turned out!

There was a huge pile of sand at the end of our neighborhood. I never let the girls go near it, because it scares me, but one day they asked if they could just go touch it if I was there with them. I said yes.

So they walked through the vacant property to the sand pile

We touched the sand and I took pictures, shocking right?!

Then we took a walk around the neighborhood and talked with some neighbors

The girls played with Nala and had a blast!

I got these cool foam blowers and the girls had a blast blowing foam at each other!

It started getting really slippery in the tub so I had them sit down

I love my silly girls!

Karah lost her first tooth! But then she really lost it! She had to write a note for the tooth fairy saying she lost her tooth outside. 5-26-11

I hear a commotion outside so I stand on the porch and take pictures, like any good mom would do, right?! haha Apparently, the boys have been taking turns on the bike and it's Luke's turn but Brayden doesn't want his turn to be over. Of course Karah steps in to make things 'fair' and help out Luke. She blocks the way and tries talking to Brayden telling him he can have another turn after Luke has his turn. Nope! He pounds on her hand to get off his bike.
