My mom got the girls these shirts for Halloween. Actually, she got Karah a cute black one that said BOO (since that's her nickname.) I wanted them to be able to wear them next year too (hopefully) so I went to trade it in for a bigger size. They didn't have it so I went with the one that matched Alyssa's.
Yes, she can reach door handles...but she can't open them! Our doors can be a bit of a pain to open so when she tries them and they don't open she must think they are locked or only mommy can open them so she stops. I'm sure it won't last long...

After a million pictures we finally got one...
where they were both looking at the camera and smiling. 
They didn't stay seated long. Soon they were standing up on the step, sitting on their pumpkins, playing in the railing, barking like dogs, running around the yard and playing peek-a-boo! At least they were having fun!

That night we went to the Olive Garden with my dad and Kim for Alyssa's birthday. Right away I ordered Pasta Fagioli for Lys. I remembered that they could give her some soup before they put the noodles in and it was something she could eat.
This was all Lyssi's food! I forgot on the kid's menu they have baked chicken with veggies and pasta so I ordered that for her. Then we wondered if she could have the breadsticks (she can) so they brought some out for her without any butter on the tops-she loved them! Then they started bringing everything! The soup I had ordered when we first got there, her kid's meal that was a whole plate full of food, her breadsticks and her juice! Never has this kid had so many options for food at a restaurant! Usually she just eats the chips or fries at restaurants-I know, very healthy! But she usually can't have anything. I guess we went a little overboard! Oh well, it was for her birthday and she couldn't even have the cake!
