I sure miss this little baby! This is Karah her first night home!

It's been five years since we called the hospital to see if we could be induced-apparently they said yes! When she was born at LDS Hospital we lived in West Valley City, UT. When she was about 10 months old we moved to Enid, OK (we drove!) Then on her second birthday we moved from Enid, OK to Altus, OK. After her little sister was born, we moved back to UT. We stayed at my mom's until we found a place. Then we moved to SLC, UT. When she was about 3 1/2 we lived in Germany for a few months and made lots of visits to France, Switzerland, and Austria. Now on her 5th birthday, we moved to Syracuse, UT. She's been moved all over-at such a young age! (Yes, I know some of you have been way more places than that!) We just figured with Shawn's job at the UANG, we wouldn't be moving very much because his base is always here. Totally forgot about the initial training (in OK) and we were so lucky to be able to go to Germany as a family! I want to go back again SOOO bad!
We woke up in the new house on Karah's birthday-it was our first night there! Shawn went to move more stuff and I made 'KARAH' pancakes with the girls (they didn't turn out pretty because the big blueberries wouldn't behave!)
Then we went to the old house to clean for our renters. I felt bad that we were so busy on her "special day" so we tried to throw things in that would be fun (like the pancakes.) We grabbed a pizza at Little Caesar's for lunch. There were balloons outside all over and two decorated smart cars! They must have known it was Karah's 5th birthday! (You know...5 dollar pizzas-there were 5's everywhere!) lol Here are the last pictures in front of our old house!
We were supposed to go to date night that night but we felt bad leaving Boo with babysitters on her birthday! She had been feeling bad that it was such a boring day and that we weren't doing anything fun! She was a trooper though! Ash wanted to see the new place so I said come over for cake and ice cream. My mom and Steve came over too to bring her present and see her. I hadn't had any time to shop for her (with the packing and moving, I was pretty busy!) I went to the store and left the kids with Shawn. I talked to my mom and she said their presents were all princess themed so I decided to get princess presents too (and princess wrapping paper!)
I was in line forever at the store so I ended up getting pink grapefruit tic-tacs since they were pink and Karah LOVES them! She was happy to see her treat and wanted to share with everyone! We got her a Barbie Princess movie, a princess Leapster game, a princess Yatzee game, Ash gave her a princess barbie and my mom got her a princess bike! What a theme!
I don't think she understood when she saw the picture on the box. She just kinda sat there. When we started putting it together, with the help of Luke and Lys, and it finally clicked! She ran and got her helmet so she could ride it right away! I didn't know where the tools were yet so we could only hand tighten the bolts. I wouldn't let her ride it outside till it was safe (pics to come!)

The kids were trying to play Yatzee, without instructions. It's funny to listen and see how kids think the game should go.
Then they made up their own games!
It's getting late, we'd better eat the cake!
I got a small cake at the store and matching cookies, which I forgot to hand out... It was an accident, I promise! I only got a tiny cake because I like to be the one to make her cake for her party and I didn't have time, yet! (Pictures to come!)

Brayden and Karah did a good job sharing the cake! We each had a little bit but they were so cute sharing we just kinda stepped back and watched! Happy birthday sweetheart! We sure love you!
I am shocked! Usually my kids don't like water splashed on them so I assumed they would play in the small plastic pool and not give this sprinkler ring a second thought! I was wrong! They played in it the entire time! In fact, they still wanted to play when it was time to shut it off-the ground was getting pretty soggy!

Of course it wasn't too long before Lys had her swimsuit off... I was informed after taking this picture that it probably wasn't a good idea to put this picture online-lots of weirdos out there! I fixed it! Now she's "dressed!"
This is what happens to small apple trees when a naked little monkey tries to swing from its branches! Nice! Thanks to Shawn, it's now standing back up (with some help!)
